Zion already has a better jumper. His jumper isn’t even bad tbh.

Ehhh...Does Z have a jump shot or you talking his set shot from 3? Not saying it won't get better just saying Z was inside the paint and 3s from what I saw.

I don't understand why he doesn't at least attempt them. That HAS to be due to coaching. I can imagine Brown in his ear telling him to dominate the way he knows how and not force something he's not very good at, but that's just *** backwards thinking, imo. Simmons really needs a coach that will help him work on his deficiencies and allow him the room to grow as a player vs simply letting himself continue to refine only the aspects of the game he's already good at.

This.  He was out for his entire first year.  He played last season and had a great rookie year.  The guy didn't make any real progression this season.  He's insanely passive and non-aggressive most of the time, especially for a player with his God given ability and talent level.  He'll never take it to the next level.  Doesn't have the drive or passion to do it.  What he is now is what he'll always be.  He's a good player, but he'll always be a disappointment.

He had another great rookie year this year. Think he wins ROTY again?

I think a better question is, will he even attempt a 3 next year???

He shot two pull up threes in back to back games this year.  Both back rimmed out, but weren’t bad shots.  Then he just stopped.

I guess it was like “See guys, I told you I can’t hit”, but again, they were pretty close shots

Actually he was a lot better this year in many ways, but you are an avid Simmons detractor so I don’t expect you to notice.

edit: but he won’t be hitting jays this year, to answer the poll lol.  Embarrassing? Yes.  A product of a lack of drive? Not necessarily.
