Our injury history has been horrific the last 2+ years. We don't get the publicity about it because of how bad we were expected to be anyway, but it's been brutal with the injuries. Hey, this is a golden opportunity to sign a guy like Boston and pay him like the top player at his or someone else's position. I am willing to risk that on a buy low 1 year type deal for a guy that probably wasn't ever going to be mroe than a cb 3/4 (spoon and sherman should be the starters outside) but has shown the talent to be a legit corner (though what talent is left after the injuries remains to be seen). He's got the talent to make that kind of risk worth it. But our safeties weren't good to begin with (well, Tartt isn't bad, but Ward hasn't been good there) and Ward is made of glass but we decided to stick with it anyway.
