Wyld Stallyns
It is thanks to Jerry Kramer's help and guidance with stem cell research that Bart Starr (2014 stroke) lived long enough to see his friend Kramer get inducted into the Hall of Fame. RIP

TheOnlyThing
Highly, highly underrated football player. Much, much better human being than he was a professional football player. RIP Bart!

JQ1
Bart Starr was truly an extraordinary man ON and OFF the football field. He will be missed... One of my Favorite memories is what my brothers and I called “the Bart Starr Play.” 3rd and short yardage, play-action to Hornung, Taylor, or Pitts, then the Bomb to Dale, Dowler, or McGee! Devastating play that almost always worked due to Starr’s crafty fake, his pinpoint accuracy, and the opponent selling out to defend the Packer punishing run game. Absolutely Devastating! RIP Bart. -also posted in the Packer Forum-
tom cody
He was one of the first great NFL QB's. May he RIP. I have this book about his life and career, worth the read:

Small Town Values
One of the all-time greats. R.I.P Bart Starr.
dtait93
It was a pleasure watching him sling it. Can't believe he's gone.
bomont
Unfortunately he was before my time. As a fan of the history of the game though, I'm well aware how many all-time greats there were before the modern crop that few of the younger generations would consider because all they know are stats. R.I.P.
Bobikus
The one player my father, an otherwise lifelong Steelers fan, truly idolized. One of the greatest players in history on and off the field.
