To be a successful franchise you have to look and plan multiple years in the future. Fans look at one year and shouldn’t make decisions. Carr is not the answer and the possibly the best QB prospect of all time will be in the 2021 Draft Class. Not trying to argue but with that reasoning would you be willing to trade back and trade away for as many draft assets in 2021. Pretty much have minimal selections in 2020 and perform as poorly as possible in 2020? Or if you really think we need a QB to replace Carr would you take say Herbert if he is sitting there for us? I would not take Herbert or Fromm over Carr. Tua or Lawrence absolutely. I would rather go 1-15 in 2020 and assure Lawrence. We aren’t making the playoffs until at least 2021 anyways. There is zero difference between 1-15 and 8-8. Just selfish fans that wanna see pointless wins with no playoff hopes. I get where you're coming from, suck for high draft picks so that you can hopefully aquire top talent. The problem is all those talents are an unknown once they enter the NFL. The draft is a gamble. And we have had multiple high draft picks since I can remember, how many of those have panned out? Sure Lawerence might be the best QB prospect since Luck, but that does not mean we should throw away a full season in hope's of landing him. If we are in position to draft him either by trading up or landing the #1 pick then yes you draft him without a second doubt.

We are not winning the Super Bowl, so why not tank for the best QB Prospect ever assembled? Perhaps I have a weird way of thinking but I’ve always thought there is zero difference between losing the Super Bowl and going 1-15. All that matters at the end of the day is that championship. There is no 2nd place in this league. 2021 is the first shot we have at being a contender, and might as well do it with the best QB Prospect ever. Super Bowl or bust, you are correct. I certainly am not satisfied with being a middle of the pack team. 3. Would love to draft Lawrence. My concerns are what does tanking do to the players on the team. If your coach and GM are actually trying to lose then what the hell does that do to the confidence and mentality of our team? If a player like Ferrell or Jacob's doesn't buy in to the strategy are we just gona ship them off and waste the draft capital we spent on them? There’d be nothing those two can do so early in their contracts. Winning would solve everything the following year.

Humble_Beast
Imagine if we doubled dipped on wideouts. Two studs with crazy speed to go with Waller Jacobs. That be a one nice core for an offense. Improve the defense with rhe 90m in cap space, - Myles Jack - Byron Jones - Big Cat big money contracts on all levels of defense. Plus add another 8-10 older vets at all units for depth across the board QB, RB, WR, OT, G, DE, LB x2, CB, S Devey/Mayowa type of players. I think we have a promising young team, next offseason is key and I think we can make a real big jump by 2020 Edited September 17, 2019 by Humble_Beast

Humble_Beast
Dolphins kill the entire morale of the team. They will be lucky to draft two prospects as good as Tunsil and Minkah. Both guys are both young too. Dolphins have sucked since Marino lol
