I want to start using a cloud service for backing up files and pictures. ( So I don't keep 2000 pictures and videos on my phone)   What is the best, most reliable cloud storage services out there today?

I use google photos.  Unlimited photo storage as long as you shrink the file size a little.  Automatic uploads from your phone, can access them anywhere.  Love it.

Do you also use the drive feature then as well to keep lists, or sheets?  I was gonna use it for a password keeper, and upload all my photos, but I want to make sure it's secure.

It's as secure as any of them.  I don't use Drive, but it's because i latched onto Dropbox first for some reason.  I don't need more than one of those services.

I'm not sure i would use it to keep passwords, but i'm paranoid that way.

I wouldn't ever store passwords on the internet in plain text/easy to realize they are passwords.  If anything, give yourself like hints or write a story or something to mask it a little.  Don't put like "Bank of America - b0rn2f1y".  Maybe something like "boanamenum" to remind yourself its BoA but your name with numbers.

If you have to use a network attached password manager, skip the text file for sure.  No better way to have all of your accounts compromised at once.  Use an encrypted password manager like LastPass (if you absolutely need your passwords on multiple machines) and change your master password every few months after generating strong random passwords for your other accounts.

Never ever ever use the same password on another site, especially if you are also using the same email address or username.

I work in Infosec and that is probably the biggest reason for compromised accounts besides Phishing.
