However, he struggled staying healthy last season and ran for a career- low 2.9 yards per carry last season. Still, he's a good receiver out of the backfield. Buck Allen can be used as a goal line/short yardage back and short 3 down converter as a pass catcher and he plays special teams, but that is about it. I have watched Buck Allen for a couple of years, and what he is, is his ceiling. Is that bad? - not at all, but as some of us have already said, it is very underwhelming.
