Herbert was very underwhelming this last season but anyone ranking him below Hurts while having Fromm at 3 needs to be checked for narcotics

Fromm is a gamer man, #1 Pocket Presence in this class by far, and #2 in Football IQ behind Burrow.

I think Fromms arm strength is blown out of proportion. Burrow and Tuas arms are not that much stronger than Fromms.

Arm Strength among consensus Top 7 QBs (my opinion):

Tier 1:

1) Jacob Eason

2) Justin Herbert

3) Jordan Love

4) Jalen Hurts

Tier 2:

5) Joe Burrow

6) Tua

7) Jake Fromm

Burrow, Tua, and Fromm are all close. It’s a Media and Fan exaggeration.

I mean, I've seen a lot of Fromm. Enough to suggest it's not exaggerating. There's no denying he gets ragged on hard by a lot of people, yes. I'm not one of those people though but to suggest he's the third best in this class, yeah, not agreeing there. I'd have him 5th behind Burrow, Tua, Herbert, and Gordon. Maybe Eason if he can fix a couple things. I love me some cerebral QBs but I do feel he's limited. Herbert that low is laughable though

JT O Sullivan (QB School on Youtube) finally released his QB Big Board that he said for a while he’s gonna release:

1) Tua Tagovailoa

2) Joe Burrow

3) Jake Fromm

4) Jordan Love

5) Nate Stanley

6) Anthony Gordon

7) Jalen Hurts

8) Justin Herbert

9) Jacob Eason

10) Steven Montez

Lmao

as underwhelming as Herbert was, he’s loads better than Fromm was.

That list sucks.

This is a really bad opinion. Tua's arm is easily Tier 1 and light years better than Fromm's. Burrow and Fromm might be closer in terms of arm strength, but Burrow is vastly superior in just about every other area.

you can say you don't like Herbert... but having him ranked as the third best QB... after Nate Stanley is a joke.

Herbert is my sixth ranked QB behind Burrow, Tua, Love, Fromm, and Eason but I agree having him behind Stanley is a huge stretch.

However, JT could be dead wrong, but he could end up being dead right. He was a QB in the NFL and knows what he’s watching. The worst QBs in the NFL usually make for the best QB Coaches ironically. We on the other hand, are just fans

Is the little QB ever mentioned in this thread? Mason Fine from Northern Texas? Do you guys like him at all other than being very small?

If we're going with short QBs to talk about as a possible NFL caliber QB, it'd be Josh Love from San Jose State. If he were 3 inches taller, he'd be a top 5 or 6 QB in this class.

Here are my Final Rankings before Draft Day:

(These have not changed since March 31st when I posted my Top 75 list)

1) Joe Burrow (Top 3 Grade)

2) Tua Tagovailoa (Top 3 Grade)

3) Jordan Love (Mid 1st Round Grade)

4) Jake Fromm (Mid 2nd Round Grade)

5) Jacob Eason (Late 2nd Round Grade)

6) Justin Herbert (Late 2nd Round Grade)

7) Jalen Hurts (Early 3rd Round Grade)

8) Jake Luton (Early 4th Round Grade)

9) Nate Stanley (Late 4th Round Grade)

10) Anthony Gordon (Early 5th Round Grade)

Honorable Mention:

James Morgan (Late 5th Round Grade)

I like Morgan purely as a gadget guy. Also, Gorgon's ranking is low because I view his ceiling purely as a backup. However, he should be a very quality backup.

My favorite value prospect has become Jalen Hurts. He's a really great developmental prospect that some team is probably going to land in the third round.

Don't see the appeal. No real standout tools, short on the QB spectrum, super inconsistent with accuracy, deep ball floats causing underthrows, etc.

I would take Tyler Huntley before I took Jalen Hurts. Huntley offers almost everything Hurts does and you don't have to invest a premium pick into Tyler.

  3. Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma) - 2nd round grade.....NFL comp: Dak Prescott/Tyrod Taylor
  4. Jordan Love (Utah St.) - 3rd round grade.....NFL comp: less athletic Marcus Mariota

When it comes to the people supporting Fromm; how many noodle-armed, college game-managers need to fail for you guys to figure out these guys aren't worth jack?

Jimmy Clausen, Brian Brohm, Matt Barkley, Chase Daniel, Christian Ponder, Luke Falk, Connor Cook, etc.

Some of these guys got drafted high (Ponder, Brohm, Clausen), the others didn't. No matter where Fromm goes though, he has the physical limitations that made these guys absolute nobodies in the NFL.

The guy isn't starter quality, plain and simple. There is a reason teams take chances all the time on guys with big arms versus guys weak arms. Fromm completed something horrendous like 50% of his passes past the LOS. Miserable number.
