Its always sad to me when a great, 'retires' when in actual fact they cant get a job, especially apparent when it is after and the draft, and there has not been a look at him.

most wicked duo of all time

Could have been GOAT status if not for the most freak injuries imaginable.

Sad that both he and Willis had their careers cut tragically short. Both looked like legitimate HOF talents in their prime (Willis undoubtedly is, even with the shorter than expected career. Bowman, probably not, but 4 1st team all-pros is no joke).

wasn't the same after the devastating injury, but I had a lot of respect for him when he came back. Well done Navorro.

Him and Patrick Willis were probably my favorite LB duo ever.

Great duo, but I have to throw Ray Lewis and Bart Scott into the ring. If you expand it to foursome, I think Lewis-Scott-Suggs-Adalius Thomas has to be close to taking the cake, at least post-1990 (3 made all-pro, all four have probowl honors).

I didn't claim they were the best of all time, just my favorite duo.

Those two were animals - loved watching them play the scant times I'd catch the 49ers.

That duo was the fastest ILB tandem I have ever seen.

he was actually still good on Raiders 2 years ago. Gruden went another route last year, which is why he wants people to forget his raider run
