So is it the Texans plan to Not hire a real GM and leave this Tool in place?

Well, the guy they really want (Nick Caserio) is under contract until the end of this year...so I think they are letting BoB play GM for this year, then getting their guy from NE (remember they were blocked from going after him this year, and the Pats filed tampering charges too).

Seems logical.  Would allow Caserio to hire his own HC when he's hired too.

...at this point, I'd expect O'Brien to bench Williams for Kalil. So, it might be a waste.

If your LT is suspect, the new NFL strategy is to draft a left-handed QB.

So I guess we're tanking for Tua. Makes sense.

1. Daniel Snyder, friendly reminder, is one of the most stubborn people on the planet.

2. To be fair, that's basically an early 2nd Rounder since it's New England's 1st round pick.

I wouldn’t mind that at all though, due to:

1) the extra 5th year option we would get for the pick

2) the 2020 draft class is absolutely stacked in the positions we need most on offense (OT and WR). Someone will drop.

LOL @ Dan Snyder. That's probably the best offer you're gonna get.

Probably turned it down because he wanted an additional late round pick...

I’m not sure I believe that Patriots report. A 1st+ for Williams, when they just spent a 1st on Wynn, seems unlikely.
