Yeah the 1991 Colts were worse offensively with only 143 total points for the season, but defensively they weren’t quite as bad. Only ranked 20th in yards and part of that was because their offense couldn’t sustain a drive to keep them off the field Now I do think they might have a case for worst offense of all time. They ranked 8th in passing attempts but 2nd to last in the league in passing yardage. I thought that would've been a perfect final score. It was really the defensive side of the ball though that was so depleted. Give that team an average QB and an average coach and they win 5 games easily imo. As far as HC/QB combination Kizer and Hue might be the worst ever. 4 of their first 7 losses were by 3 points. That with Hue and a QB who was just over 50% completions and had a 1/2 TD to INT ratio and every red zone pass he made seemed to be a pick. Unless you actually remember that season and have enough of a clue to realize stats don't tell the whole story to put it mildly. They were competitive in many games that year. I'm not sure who the worst was, assuming it's even possible for one team to stand out above the others, but the 76 Bucs have to be on the short list.
