Yep.. I don't know if people noticed (or if I'm crazy), but Durant was clearly afraid to run at anything CLOSE to 100%.. he was mildly jogging in transition, even when the situation called for him to sprint.. and he still had an enormous impact on the game and was dominating. He may never be the same, but to say he'll never be a Top 30 player again.. HUGE overreaction. He'll be a great player in this league again. But still, this sucks. Anyone saying he was dominating last night is only looking at his 3P shooting. No one knows if he was misdiagnosed except for the medical staff and Durant's team. If Durant lied about his pain level to try and get back on the court, then what can the medical team do about that? Maybe they semi-lied to him and said he couldn't make anything worse without telling him he's more susceptible to an achilles injury. Just way too many possibilities with no facts for us right now.
