lomaxgrUK Posted June 11, 2019 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I like PFF, but I feel he was one of those players who got a really good deal on the back of a PFF rating that was just so far from reality. His play 'magically' took a leap when Peyton Manning took over at QB, in particular 2012 I think. The ball came out faster and protection calls were obviously better. He struggled in his final year as a Bronco especially vs power and I was amazed when the Jags gave him what was basically a 2 year, $12.5m deal. Whilst that deal surprised me, I was floored the 49ers then decided to give him another $7m over 2 years. Fair play to the guy.
