mistakey
Young receiver with very high YPC, made irrelevant by martavius bryant's reinstatement Not sure he'll do anything that great for us, but who knows.
Mind Character
If he sees the field, he will frustrate our fan base....Sammie Coates can take the top off the defense but has some of the worst hands and drops at Auburn....this continued in the pros....he simply can't catch the ball reliably. Big...physical receiver with deep speed. I honestly wouldn't have given a 6th for him as he was going to be cut due to injury problems A 6th round pick for us next year probably doesn't make the team...so it's no big deal. Mind Character
" The 2018 sixth-round pick going to Pittsburgh was originally acquired from the Steelers in exchange for DB Justin Gilbert on Sept. 3, 2016. " Basically...as a net trade...we traded Justin Gilbert for Sammie Coates and a 2019 7th round pick....
EL Brownso
From what I read it's the Steelers 6th round pick we received in the Justin Gilbert trade.
Mind Character
I'd rather we traded for Justin Hunter from the Steelers...as he's a more reliable big bodied catcher
sdrawkcab321
Not liking this one. I don't like WRs who can't catch. We already have Britt who drops everything.
bosko1616
Sammie Coates and Ricardo Louis reunited. Two auburn receivers best know for they're deep play ability. Lack of reliable hands. And one or two plays that made them revelant enough to be drafted. I still am very worried about our WRs
Dawgpoun8017
Low risk trade. We gave up nothing for a guy who is very athletic and we will see what Saunders can do with him. He works out great he doesn't meh no biggie

brownie man
The hope is that Al Saunders can coach this guy up. But that hasn't work for any of this other scrubs not named Randell Hall. You can tell he's got better because of coaching.
BleedTheClock
Not a bad flier to take. I doubt he sticks, but I have even less faith in whoever we'd take in the 6th round. Fine with it, but not elated or anything.

DizzyDean
So does this offset the Haden signed for enemy intel conspiracy theory?
bosko1616
No but if anything we will just ran go routes on him all day with CC and Coates and burn Haden all day
DizzyDean
Not sure how relevant it is, but both Steelers fans over in their graveyard corner of this site are upset about this trade.
