The pieces that they acquired just don't fit well with their new franchise player. It's the AD situation all over again, the Pelicans land a transcendent franchise player and surround him with pieces that don't fit and zero shooting. In a few years Zion will probably demand a trade too. They can trade them... Just because they got them in this trade doesn't mean they have to keep them. amac
Congrats to Lakers fans. You guys should probably win it all next year if you don’t f up the rest of the roster massively
J-ALL-DAY
So the Lakers were basically competing against.....themselves? In that case the Pelicans did pretty damn good here.
FinSting
Correct interpretation of trade: Pelicans get LaVar Ball, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks.

seminoles1
Lakers need to sign Darren Collison, Jeremy Lamb, and DeWayne Dedmon now.

Sucks Kyrie kind of forced Ainge to bow out of the trade talks. In this case Griffin probably couldn’t have done much better

TheRealMcCoy
Kuzma was the untouchable one for the Lakers smh... Treat the young guys well New Orleans.

They have to fill since damn near all their free agents signed one year deals. Just now, amac said: Sucks Kyrie kind of forced Ainge to bow out of the trade talks. Back to square one with a good, but not great ball club. LeBron with his style does need someone who can get their own shot so Kemba at least fits that.
