boratt
Rodgers loves calling the plays at the line but he doesn’t run the ball enough to keep defenses honest. I hope he takes Lafleurs coaching.
spilltray
I don't get it. Favre got a pass on everything because he played up being a redneck moron. He could make the dumbest throw into blanket triple coverage and say "aw shucks I was just trying to make a play" and it worked. Rodgers on the other hand is actually intelligent. He says what he thinks, usually has some good idea behind it from what I can tell, and everyone gets bent out of shape.

It isn't like Rodgers is one of the great minds of our time either, he isn't going to talk over your head about anything other than his job, and you could do the same to him about yours. He just comes off as a guy that isn't fun to be around. Would you rather sit at a bar with Favre or Rodgers, just BSing and being guys. Without having met either of them, the answer for me is Favre.

The opposite, for me, but the key phrase is "without having met either of them", so it is pure speculation either way.
ThatJerkDave
And don't get me wrong. I like Aaron Rodgers the quarterback, and Aaron Rodgers the man. I just think in the hypothetical world where he is my neighbor, he is the guy I wave at in the morning, not the guy I'm having over for some burgers. Lovie's answer: Because he would blitz himself every play.

Too much faith in themselves kind of thing.
