Who are the worthwhile recent cuts?

RB Jeremy McNichols is a good RB. Just keep the playbook simple and don't ask him to block. I've gotta imagine he's gonna be on our PS unless someone else claims him. Which they should.

DE George Johnson has a bit of experience and would be decent depth. But don't expect much out of him as a starter.

CB Jonathan Moxey has shown a lot of promise. He's already set to land on our PS.

Panthers cut QB/WR/special teamer Joe Webb for some reason. Also cut P Andy Lee, who is a monster.

Webb is a great jack of all trades guy and emergency QB. Play more ST snaps than any other Panther last year.

Andy Lee doesn't really need an intro... can't believe we dumped him. I imagine it was because he was more expensive than the other guy, but he's great.

For the 49ers, it's mainly going to be Dial. Just a wrong fit in our defense. But he's definitely a worthwhile pick up for a team in the 3-4 that needs d-line help.

Jeremy Kerley is what he is, but should probably be on a roster somewhere.

Thanks for that fourth round pick. ;)

Cut down day is full on and tons of players are hitting the streets. Let's use this thread to note some big named or most likely to be picked up players. For the Raiders, we need all the LB help we can get. Anyone available?

We cut Freeney.

GB cut Reggie Gilbert, limited talent-wise but he looked like our best back up OLB the entire preseason.

TJ Ward, Tyler Orlosky, and Brad Kaaya are the "WTF" cuts for me. I haven't seen them play in the preseason, but still kind of shocked based on college tape and TJ Ward's past play.

Kaaya was outplayed by Jake Rudock pretty handily, wasn't surprised he didn't stick on the Lions' 53. Someone else might take a flier on him, if not, he'll be on somebody's practice squad.
