I got Seattles Tyler Lockett, he's young and posted solid numbers last season.

Which is why I kicked it down to 6 but meet in the middle on 7 would work.

ny92mike
With a 75/53 man roster we could potentially bring the league cap down to 240 range.

I understand that, a couple things I won't be using OTC again to collect data, they suck at position groups, will figure out something else with position groups using spotrac, they do a much better job of position changes. Second, the way I see it the list of where each player was within each group was listed and I even made note of the position differences at the start. I do wanna provide a better listing and their positions and using spotrac and getting some help looking over the list before we make public will help. Merging the entire offensive line is a simple solution but I believe that would be giving too much talent to a single team with one pick. ny92mike
@EaglesPeteC I see that missed cut by me got you a little over 1.3 million. Looking over your roster, you've got some solid depth if we rolled with a max limit of 75. Looking at your roster would you be cool with that cap amount? I'd like to lower it some to be honest KC has roughly 70 million with 74 which is expected when the roster isn't carrying any huge contracts. I'm currently ranked 3rd with the madhatters sitting on 90 with 25 million to spend, however both of these teams started out with some young players with minimal contracts over 10 million. Are the players that are in FA going to have 0 salary and contracts and we would be submitting bids for them to set the contract? OR would it be a bidding for the contract the player already has with a "bidding units" process of some sorts? Not directed to me but I'll answer. The Free Agency will be done very similar to how all of my tcmd mocks are ran. We use a player grading system to determine the players value. If they produce stats expect their requested contract to be a higher amount. After each bidding round that amount will decrease 10% or more if we decide until the required signing amount is the vet min on a single year contract. Also worth noting that if the grade produces a value of something less than the players current years cap hit, the cap hit value is used. This is designed to catch players that their grade is less than it should be due to injury or lack of playing time.
