New England doesn't have a "conventional passing order". Their gameplan is completely different every week. Edelman is really the only guy last season that saw consistent targets - especially with Gronk and Bennett missing lots of time/playing hurt. 

You're right in that Hogan isn't used like a conventional #2 WR like Michael Crabtree or DT/Sanders. But who in New England's offense is used conventionally?
