1. Barkley (he is going to get the rock a lot this year)

2. McCaffery (excellent all round game)

3. Kamara

4. Elliott (best true runner)

5. Chubb

6. Bell ( not the greatest runner and I dont trust people after a year off)

7. Gordon (have never been a huge fan, could be lower)

8. Hunt (higher if not suspended)

9.  Gurley (dont trust his slump to bounce back on an arthritic knee)

10 Lindsay

I think two backs have a legit shot at 1k rushing and receiving in kamara and McCaffrey, I like the players that are a threat rushing and receiving.

It's just fantasy football but these are the early leaders as far as average draft position. It's a little different than just who is best, it is who is projected to be the most productive but generally I think it shows what most people think, especially for the bell cow backs.

It seems like it took a little while for it to sink in how good Barkley is.  Giants fans were wowed by him all season, and it took me an entire 6 games to crown him the best running back in the NFL. But even after his incredible rookie season, and display of amazing talent, I spent a lot of time arguing with fans about whether the Giants made the correct decision in drafting Barkley over Darnold / Allen / Rosen.  Even when you take positional value into account, to me it's a no brainer because he's the best running back I've seen (football fan since 2002).  And I'm not even being biased... I swear.

With the Gurley knee situation, I think Barkley's in a tier by himself. Elliott and Kamara are close, and some other guys could get there with big years (DJ, CMC, Le'Veon could get up there again), but right now Barkley is in my eyes the undisputed number one and by a good margin at that.

No love for Chris Carson? Not even on a top 25 list, where you got David Montgomery xD

They think Montgomery is going to be good because Nagy is an offensive genius with his 21st ranked total offense.

Teams should be able to key in on the running game fairly easily against Trubisky TBH.

Take off Hunt and add Williams. Hunt is out the first half and who knows how he’ll be used after that.

Williams is playing in a RB friendly offense that he did really well in after taking over.

Williams is clearly not a top 10 RB going into next season.

His best season was last year and he just played a few games and finished with less than 500 total yards. Sure he was great during those few games but that's just a few games.

I do think he will be good and be productive next season but he doesn't belong anywhere near any top 10 list right now.
