He’s a little old for a soph. I totally spaced on including Bey in my top 25. I'd put him in around #20 and slide everyone else down a spot. Bey's a little limited athletically but he should definitely be a solid role player in the league as a 3&D guy that can guard multiple positions. I think he'll be limited to guarding big wings and small bigs. His defensive acumen is what sets him apart from other 3&D guys. He just always seems to always meet opposing players in the spot they want to get to.
11sanchez11
updated BB: Killian - pull up shooting, touch around the basket, elite passing, good team D. Tho too left handed dominant and not a great athlete. also hasn't been a good spotup shooter, tho not too worried about that (how many guys are good pullup shooters but not good spot up shooters? plus he has the floater touch, which is evidence of being able to be a good shooter aka brandon clarke) Deni - size, passing, good team d + effort. only thing he needs is the 3pt shooting to be real OO - great athlete, great touch, switchable on D, good rim protector. got bodied by college Cs tho, hasn't been a good shooter or passer yet Okoro - great athlete, passing, great attacking the basket, thick boy with great feet on d + is also a smart team defender. only thing he needs is confidence in his shot Anthony Edwards - dropped him because he doesn't seem like a serious person. and wasn't a particularly good college player lol. elite upside tho. great cutter. super explosive. elite shot making potential Vassell - elite 3&D guy. both great on ball and team defender, which is rare. great spotup guy, showed a little pullup + post gm. tho doubt he will be a ballhandler or 'scorer' in the nba. not a great passer Lamelo - prob the best passer since idk, a while. creative, confident. great size. decent handle tho more sauce than substance, rebounds. smart team defender when the effort is there. super contact averse, hasn't been a good shooter, hasn't given a lot of effort on d. hasn't really been in good environments where he has to play to win Wiseman - massive, potential to be a great rim protector. great rebounder, especially ORs. foul drawer. decent potential to shoot. explosive when given room to load up. lumbering feet, was pretty bad on perimter d, didn't show to be a good passer Kira - super quick. was a good pullup guy (tho a little hesitant), and good spotup shooter. ok passer. decent touch. good defensive playmaker and good on ball. lacks vertical pop like guys like wall and fox have. doesn't play super physically. prob not capable of being the best playmaker on a good team. Hali - elite passer and team d. great spot up shooter. good rebounder, defensive playmaker. was super efficient in college. lacks high level scoring potential, weird pullup shooter. not great on ball. needs to eat food, super skinny. super contact averse driving. prob not good enough creating (not enough of a scoring threat to attract attention ala lonzo) to be the main ballhandler on a good team poku - just because, haven't really watched him lol. most confident person on earth I think. he's kinda like lamelo tbh. just tries a bunch of stuff cole anthony - great pullup shooter, super competitive. think he will be a good on D. good rebounder. was more explosive pre-UNC (bad spacing and playing thru an injury). think he will be solid finishing even tho he was pretty bad with no one on UNC being able to shoot. not a good passer, relied on a bunch of 'bad shots', inefficient at UNC Josh Green - great on ball defense + smart team defender. great athlete w/ loading time + super fast in transition maybe even the fastest prospect in the full court, smart + creative passer. actually shot pretty well tho teams totally disrespected him lol. lacks nimbleness in the halfcourt creating, not good thru contact, bad shot selection at UA tho seems pretty easy to stop if you make him a role player. weird lower leg activity when shooting + elbow pops out occasionally makes his shooting translating questionable. not lengthy for a wing Maxey - big bodied PG, prob switchable for a PG. should be a good shooter (great touch + ft shooting indicators). good touch tho prob a little too reliant on floaters/touch layups because he is not a great athlete. not good enough as a playmaker to be the main one, prob has to play with a good/great playmaking wing or not be the PG Nesmith - incredible shooter, both off movement and spotup. good w/ one or two dribble side dribbles/pump fake then dribble type shots. tho not a great 3pt dribbling creator. good team d, great body + length for an elite shooter. really struggled closing out + on ball tho vandy played a super aggressive no middle d which made them a terrible defensive team and easy to drive by because players had to take weird closeout angles. bad passer Bane - elite shooter, both off movement + spotup. a little better creator 3pt shooter than nesmith tho. strong af. good passer + ball mover. lacks length. prob will be a guy teams go at on d, not great on ball defender. that's all i got for now
11sanchez11
forgot obi! prob put him at 10 elite offensive big potential. elite roller, great 3pt shooter, really good passer, can make the short roll reads. maybe not a great postup guy but prob will be able take advantage of switches. fast af in transition. decently smart team defender tho can't protect the rim. and is super immobile laterally. hunchback which makes him lean forward too much. pretty weak for a big. so terrible defensive player with not a lot of hope for improvement tbh and high level offensive potential. prob the biggest difference in human history of his vertical & lateral athleticism I think he prob will win RotY but not be a particularly good player his rookie year Edited September 23, 2020 by 11sanchez11

But Dirk/Porzingis were both already 20 and Pau was already 21. Poku is reportedly 210 pounds but he's also only 18 years old so he has time to bulk up. To me he's basically a carbon copy of D'Angelo Russell coming into the league.

beekay414
I like Hayes a ton. He doesn't have the greatest first step but he beats on ball guards the same way Luka does, with an excellent hesitation dribble.
beekay414
Also, is it me or does he absolutely nail the James Harden step back 3 move along with the Harden euro? It's almost identical.

It's almost identical. His skill level is insane for a 19 year old. He needs to get better going right and show that he can consistently hit the 3, but man I love him as a prospect. He's not the most athletic or explosive player but he definitely took a jump in both areas between the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Plus he's only 19 so I think he'll continue to improve as an athlete. If I had to bet on which player I think would be considered the best player from this class 5 years down the road, I'd pick Hayes, 1000%. I'd honestly consider him at #2 if I was the Warriors front office. Use him in a 6th man role like the Thunder did with Harden early in his career. It'll be interesting to see what the Knicks do if Ball, Hayes, and Haliburton are all off of the board before #8. Which I could realistically see happening with Ball going #3 to the Hornets, Hayes going #4 to Chicago, and Haliburton going #6 to Atlanta.
