You don't like Kennard?! I think he could develop into an 18/5Ast/4 Reb 2 while splitting 45/40/90? The Knicks will give you Kevin Knox and #38 if that's the case lol

He improved a lot last year but he’s on the last year of his contract and has all the makings of a guy that someone will drastically overpay

I'd pay Kennard 12-15mil per year. Especially when Fournier made 17M/Year with a much lower cap (even if this one drops at the most 12 mil). Kennard gives you the same shooting plus playmaking. I think at most he gets a contract similar to Fournier whom also had injury concerns.

I don't think Kennard is anything special.  He has had the chance to be the star scorer on a bad team and still only managed 15 a game. He is efficient but he is a solid role player, not someone to build around.  On a good team he would be a Kyle Korver type that can compliment a couple star players well but he wont ever be a star player.  He likely however will require more money than a Korver type and will continue to score 15-18 on a team that doesn't make the playoffs.  I am guessing he gets traded this year because he wont be worth the contract he likely will get so might as well get something.  I'm hoping we can snag a late first from a contender at the deadline for him or a future pick with potential to have some value.

Warriors receive: Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard, #7

Pistons receive: Jordan Poole, #2

Its tough being a fan of bad teams, but its even tougher when bad teams have players you really don't like, and thats where I am with the Pistons.  I like Sekou, I don't really care about anyone else on that roster and if they add Ball it will make me even less interested.

One positive in potentially taking Ball is that it probably ensures you're bad enough to be in position to draft Cunningham, Kuminga, or Green in 2021.

I would be ok with this but not to take Ball, which is what I am afraid would happen.  However having Ball be the PG on our team would likely lead to a top 3 pick each of the next few years so I guess it has potential.  I do think in general I would rather have Rose Kennard and Hayes/Halliburton/Wiseman than Poole and Ball.

i'm completely fine with bane at 10, tho i still like cole and kira more. maybe even maxey

Is that the rumor now? God damn this draft is going to be nuts. Really hoping one of the isolation scoring type PGs or combo guards makes it to 24, assuming we keep that pick.

no but i follow a bunch of suns fans who want him so it's kinda of a thing lol

plus ppl think he is an option just because we took cam last year (JJ's only draft so far) and they think it is his type
