The Jets were also in the hunt for him before Minny got him. That should make them happy. But yeah, offering a 5th without any conditions at all was a bold move and it backfired. Yeah, just strange as all hell that the guy was such an ace in Baltimore that if they didn't already have one of the very best PK in the NFL he would've seemed to have been a shoe in. Then in Minny he's at his absolute worst. There's gotta be something we aren't hearing because it sounds almost as if he tanked his audition intentionally.
