Knicks receive: D'Angelo Russel Warriors Receive: Knox, DSJ, Trier, 2020 Knicks 1st rounder Top 5 protected. Who says no? The Warriors. Those players suck. Knox is talented, cheap, and can become that harrison barnes type player. Trier is also talented and cheap. Just fits the mold of a Warrior a la Patrick McCraw/Ian Clark. The pick will likely be 7-18 next year. DSJ is more throw away piece that could be a solid 6-7th man/bench scoring. Reality is, Warriors will not bring in a 4th star again. They've proven they can win with their big 3 of Klay/Steph/Draymon and were going to force a game 7 this year sans Klay getting hurt. It's just the team was so top heavy compared to years past with Boogie being brought on and KD that they relied on Livingston/Iggy to play key minutes that their body couldn't handle any longer at this stage of their career.. I also do not see many disgruntled wing players popping up before the deadline.

J-ALL-DAY
Once again, why would Russell need to be traded this year? He is staying for at least a season as there is no guarantee Klay returns next year. Even if he does, it will likely be around March or even early April. Russell will still have the same value he does after the season as he will at the deadline. If he proves he can play well with Steph and Klay? Then they may even keep him longer than a year.
