Mitchell as a 2nd year player is worlds better than Giannis was.

Cool. That has nothing to do with Mitchell's 44 game stretch being nowhere near Giannis now.

I literally stated it above.

Giannis came into the league as an 18 year old, super raw player. Donovan Mitchell spent two years at Louisville and came in as a plug and play player. It's nowhere near the same. If you want to be completely disingenuous, which is basically how you post, sure, go right ahead. Then I'll come back with the advance metrics, the usage difference and how advanced stats had them having the exact same impact despite Mitchell getting significantly more usage.

Mitchell was considered raw coming into the league and no one expected him to be this good this early. He was a defensive specialist with elite athleticism at UofL. Nice revisionist history though.

No, he wasn't. He was inefficient, not raw. He's the same exact player, right now, as he was in high school and college. Needing some refining/work =/= being raw. If that's the case, every single player coming into this league is "raw." What does he do differently now that he didn't do at Louisville? Because he's got a damn near identical career eFG% and TS% now as he did in college.

He was raw. No one in the league expected him to be this good or he would've been a top 5 pick. The Mitchell slander has gone too far, guaranteed he gets a ring before Giannis. Unless Giannis goes running to NY with two other stars, which might happen in 2021.

If he was raw, he wouldn't have damn near identical advanced shooting lines but go on with whatever helps you sleep at night. Sorry you can't wrap your head around the fact that ya boi will never be as good as mine.

Mitchell's year as a starter at UofL...

40.8/35.4/80.6, 49.8% eFG%, 53.4% TS%

Mitchell's first two years in the NBA

43.4/35.1/80.5, 49.9% eFG%, 53.9% TS%

Yep. He was "raw" coming into the league lmao.

Still better than Giannis was at this point in his career.

Except he wasn't. Giannis was a god damn beast at 22.

And I love that, when you're proven wrong, you instantly take a shot at someone's fanhood. It's cute. Take  your 134923043204 L this week and sit down.
