What are your thoughts on the initial cuts, who do you think should make the PS, and what players from other teams that have been waived should we target???

I ultimately see us keeping 10 OL and 10 DL a la the Eagles/Rams/Jim Schwartz/Gregg Williams model.

I could be wrong, but I think it's the best way to maximize our roster talent and not cut talent for lesser talent depth at another positioin.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Players still on the bubble: OL Zach Sterup, OL Spencer Drango, OL Marcus Martin, FS Kai Nacua, S Ibraheim Campbell, SS Calvin Pryor, CB Marcus Burley, CB Darius Hillary.

--All those players still may be waived in order to upgrade the roster.

I expect a lot of our UFA LBs to make the PS.

Love that they kept the roster talent. Love that they kept Orchard at least for now.

Only cut I didn't like was Jordan Leslie, but every year you have to gamble on a player making the practice squad...and it's a better gamble for a UFA than a drafted player given other teams' databases and analytics.

I'd love to add Malachi Dupre to the PS and sign Alex Boone to the 53 and cut Zach Sterup.

Idk what they see in Higgins he's hanging on

leslie is 25 I think the youth in the others is the biggest factor

Leslie has a better chance of clearing waivers for PS as a UFA than Higgins the younger drafted player with a name/game that GMs and scouting dept. liked and would pick up for their PS.

First thing I thought was how your u were right saying 10 o line. Kudos to you for that.

I thought Hall would make it until the Coates trade.

I like keeping 5 safeties. I think a move for a receiver, tackle, and corner could all be possibilities.

Hopefully we get another receiver

Only 11 players were on the team 3 years ago

A coupe of factors in that, one, our roster was pathetic in terms of talent level.  2, our culture was completely toxic with Petine's play like a Brown motto that meant nothing.  It required a near purge and reboot of the entire roster to get a new and more healthy culture.  Honestly, off the top of my head, the only guys from a few years ago that I would have 2nd thoughts about are Haden, Mack, and Schwartz, and then Pryor from last year, but he also was not on the roster a few years ago really.

We have improved the overall talent, but are roster is a long long way from yearly playoff competitive talent....Jimmy needs to give these guys 5 years of continuity; 5 years of mistakes/successes...

And depth, too.
