Minnesota isn't poaching anyone in FA.

You never know, if they open up a couple of max slots. Even still, it's probably more likely to get better value out of your money being available in 2021 than 2020.

Owner Mark Cuban hinted that Delon Wright will start at point guard. On the ESPN U broadcast, Cuban talked a lot about how Luka Doncic can't guard the likes of Chris Paul and Kemba Walker, so he wants Wright out there to do so. Cuban also said he liked how Wright's downhill style to create can mix up the offense next to Luka's walk-up tendencies.

The Celtics have waived Guerschon Yabusele. The Dancing Bear has an elite nickname, but after two years of NBA experience, he still hasn't been able to crack the rotation in Boston and didn't look great at Summer League. Maybe he'll get a camp invite somewhere.

The whole notion of the PG NEEDING to be the primary ball handler is kind of outdated.

Ricky Rubio said he's ready to step into a leadership role in Phoenix this upcoming season. "I think he saw an opportunity to come here and be who he is, who he’s always been, a leader," said Phoenix GM James Jones. "My conversation with Ricky was direct ... It was, ‘We need you. We think you can thrive here. We think that you can make us better.’ That was a challenge he was willing to accept." Rubio struggled splitting the playmaking duties with Donovan Mitchell in Utah, but he'll be able to operate with the rock much more in Phoenix. He's still in his prime at 28 years old and could be in for a career year with the Suns.

If he wants to play with his son, he will have to play FIVE more seasons. His son is just entering HS so he still has four years of that and then he will be drafted.

So Bron Bron is going to have to play 21 seasons if he wants to play with his son......Assuming his son is good enough to go to the league straight out of the draft.

I don’t see any reason he can’t play 5 more. He’s a freak of nature. Never a serious injury in his career. There’s been players who played well into their late 30s. He might not be elite but he’ll be a good player.

Five seasons is still A LOT. And this dude has crazy mileage on his body. Bron also doesn't seem like a guy that will play when he's not elite anymore. It killed Kobe the last few years being so washed and it will do the same for Bron.

If he avoids a major injury, then maybe he is still is an all star level player in four or so years.

Still can't understand how Syracuse won anything with that ball hog Me First guy. Boggles the mind.

College is different than the NBA but it helps when that little PG McNamara went off, especially in the first half with 6 threes IIRC.
