We had the EXACT same situation with Dalvin Cook (tears ACL rookie year) and he came back the next season, tweaked his hammy, missed 5.5 games, and finished the season strong. Run the hell out of Perine, Byron Marshall and Craig Reynolds this preseason. Hopefully, Perine balls out and they can trade him before the season starts to a team that needs running back depth.
