Trying to get some info from the forum field.

What are your team needs as of right now.

In order would be preferred.

Thanks!

A true #1 WR is probably our biggest need right now.

We don't have many needs on this team. We could obviously improve on some areas but we have serviceable starters at each position. Something I couldn't say the past two years.

WR seems like the obvious need. We have a lot of slot guys and #2 guys but no legit stud reciever. Of the Group of Robert Foster, Zay Jones Cole Beasley and John Brown... I think Foster could be a #1 WR but it will take time to tell.

Other than WR DE could be a need we have Shaq Lawson and Trent Murphy. Both are solid DEs but we could use a great pass rusher on the other side of Jerry Hughes which would solidify our defense as top 3 in the NFL.

Maybe Guard. We are not sure what our interior will look like. We have signed. Spencer Long, Quinton Spain, and Jon Felciano. Then of course we still have a young player in Wyatt Tellar. And signing Mitch Morse means Russell Bodine may be able to switch over to Guard. And we could move Cody Ford to Guard and start Ty Nsekhe. We have a ton of options on OLine. We should be able to find one combination that works really well and if not Guard may become a need again but it's another one of those wait and see deals.

Last position I will mention is TE. We signed Tyler Kroft who has an injury problem and is already hurt again. But he is solid when he plays. Also we drafted Dawson Knox but he is raw. Could be the next George Kittle or could just disappear. We could use an upgrade here. Especially if Kroft continues to get hurt.

What I love most about this team is Beane sign a ton of players so we don't have many holes. It's why we drafted Ed Oliver. We could afford to go BPA with the state of our roster. If you asked me during the season to draft a defensive player I would have said no freaking way. But we signed so many players and filled so many holes that I was praying for Oliver to fall to us.

I'd say our biggest need is a true #1 WR second would be a pass rusher but after that I think we are pretty much set up for great competition at training camp we have good depth.  I think Beane has put a lot of talent on this team.   We are but together well going into the season and we won't have many holes to fill next offseason either.

I disagree about the true #1 wr. Yes it is nice to have a Julio Jones or Hopkins but its not a necessity. Look at the past years superbowl champs and you will see teams get by with wide receivers who arent true #1s. I believe the top need as of right now is pass rusher opposite to Jerry Hughes. The bills were ranked 26th in sacks last year and the 2 guys opposite to hughes combined for only 8 sacks lawson/murphy. To me this is definitely a top priority over wide receiver. I think the WR position should be judged after the season after we see how beasley, and brown do being new to the team and of course how both foster and zay produce after being with allen for over a year now.

Tight end is my second choice, with Kroft's injury history and Knox showing things in mini camp is nice to see but its a different story when they are on the field in pads. I think this spot is unknown right now more so then WR.

Wr is #3 but thats based off of what was mentioned above.

#4 SLB with Alexander in his final year before retirement this spot is still up for grabs and will be a huge position to fill as Alexander has stepped in this role for the last 2-3 years.

I disagree with your disagreement. If you actually look at past years super bowl champs, outside of like the Eagles, just about every team has had a legit #1 WR and even in some cases a legit #1 and #2.

What is considered a legit #1? When people say that they need a legit #1 it is a Julio Jones, Aj Green, Hopkins type player. Edelman who has been the pats #1 wr for so many years is not a legit #1 wr he is as good as cole beasley hes nothing special but has a hall of famer QB throwing to him while beasley has had Dak and romo. I think having a group of Wrs that fit the type of Allens style of play is more important then going out and landing a top talent. Rams went to the superbowl your trying to tell me that Woods, Cooks are all legit #1s? They are good im not saying they are not but to define who is a legit #1 can be argued. When someone says someone is a legit #1 it is a player who can carry a team when ball is in hand at all times and honestly each team that has been in the superbowl the last 10 years, minus the falcons, do not have that type of player. A group of players that fit the offense is what makes a team, finding those players that fit the scheme is more important then finding a legit #1 as you can see the top WR in the league who are said "#1s" do not have a ring on their hand.

A legit #1 WR does not have to be considered a "superstar" in my opinion. Last 10 SB winners:

NE (x3): Edelmen, all three SB. Sure he had Brady, but he was still consistent #1

Eagles: Alshon Jeffrey? (this is prob the only one I'd say no)

Broncos: Demariyus Thomas AND Emmanual Sanders (possibly a 1A & 1B, at worst, legit 1 & 2)

Seahawks: Baldwin (consistent #1)(also had Tate that season)

Ravens: Anquan Boldin (at the end of his career but still a legit #1 for them)

Giants: Victor Cruz (legit)

Packers: Greg Jennings was a legit #1 (also had that year Jordy Nelson, James Jones & Donald Driver)

Saints: Marques Colston (was a legit #1 for a few seasons)

Even if you went back a little further, Colts had Harrison & Wayne, Steelers had Hines Ward, Giants had Plaxico etc...

If your going off of that basis then why couldnt you say beasley and john brown as a consistent player for the bills? We also have foster and zay both coming in to their own? I am saying that a #1 wr right now isnt the biggest need on the team as it is way unknown. Brown started lighting it up in Baltimore when Flacco was QB as that is similar to Allens style of play airing it out. Once Lamar stepped in with a less of an arm strength as flacco his stats went down. I think Brown can be what he was last year when flacco was in. Beasley to me is a similar stature in Edelman he has great hands and is good route runner in the slot.

To me Golden Tate would be ahead of Jeffrey but thats my opinion based on what he does with the ball.

All those guys you say are legit WR not one is a superstar and game changer to the point that he made the plays to win them a superbowl or make it to the superbowl except for a guy like Julio Jones. You are simply naming WR who are dealing with future hall of fame QBs in both mannings, brady, rodgers, Big ben, and brees. Look at what happened when the steelers had AB and leveon no superbowl runnings for them. Look at when Manning left Denver losing records with guys like Demaryius and Sanders still on the squad. I think the QB play has more to do with it then the WR does. I dont think those guys could take a team to the superbowl if they were on the browns, bills at the time, or any other team with out a QB like the one they had.

So going back to my original argument WR is not the #1 need right now as any of the new guys could solidify as a #1 for this team next offseason that could change as they may turn out to be not what Beane expected. it also comes down to Allens development if he cant get the ball to these guys then they have bigger issues. Beasley, Foster, Brown and Zay have been a better grouping then the last 2 years, which is why i dont think this is top priority as of now.
