There were talks of Gould holding out indefinitely in his hopes of being reunited with the Bears - and he was one of the last players not to sign their franchise tender. But it seems that the 49ers were able to convince Gould to stay on board with a two-year, $10.5M deal. Gould connected on 96 percent of his field goal attempts since joining the 49ers in 2017.

Seems the deadline day for signing players who were tagged to long-term deals got Gould to cave.

Is there something in his contract that says he can kick for the bears in the playoffs since the 9ers won’t be needing him then?

You can have him for wildcard weekend, but the divisional round he will kick for the niners after we have our bye week.

Too bad he also cant represent the bears during the pro-bowl, as I'm sure he will be busy that week

Are we predicting some We Are Marshall stuff happening to the Rams, Seahawks, and Cards?
