Ok, fine.  We win the division.  But if we continue to play like this and only win 2/3 more games that is no way to be going into the playoffs.  We can't hit and the bullpen is faltering.  Starting pitching can only take you so far.  Just making the playoffs just isn't good enough any more.

We'll be fine

Burnes - 2.34 ERA
Woodruff - 2.52 ERA
Peralta - 2.65 ERA
Lauer - 2.93 ERA (ERA as a starter - 2.84 entering today)
Houser - 3.34 ERA

Just absolutely absurd starting pitching this year. Then we trot Brett Anderson out every 6th day when he's healthy but we won't talk about that lmao.

Someone, please, explain to me what anyone sees in Jandel Gustave and why he's on this team?

Career 6.5 K/9 with a career 3.6 BB/9 and a strand rate of 68.2%. This dude CLEARLY doesn't belong in the bigs. He couldn't even strand guys in the minors FFS.

Just because I know it'll set off beekay and rams.  But Burnes anything other than second behind Wheeler is just wrong.

Baseball voters are stupid, through and through. We know this. It'll be bull**** when Burnes doesn't win because hE dIdN't PiTcH eNoUgH iNnInGs.

Like he didn't miss a month of starts due to Covid lol. Otherwise, he'd be damn near 200 IP himself. He was going 6 IP on average, which is like 4th in the NL. Bulk innings are a dumb way to decide who is more deserving.

Burnes is at 6 IP/start. Wheeler is at 6.2 IP/start. Oh my god. Wow. Stop the presses.

Pulled Burnes after two innings? WTF was the point of even starting him then? If you're worried about him sitting for 11 days, then why the hell isn't Woody getting work tomorrow?

Because CC has this notion that this team will somehow magically flip a switch next week and start playing decent baseball against the Braves.  We won the division.  Whoop-de-doo.

When do the Bucks start...?
