Man, Bandy is worthless. Can't hit, calls a **** game behind the plate and can't throw anyone out.

Bring back Luc or just call up Nottingham and DFA this scrub.

I came in here to post just that. He is TERRIBLE. It would be one thing if he was great defensively or something but hes just bad at everything.

We need somebody to show the video of the strike 3 on Yelich in I believe the first inning. Then show the missed strike 3 for Hader in the 8th and then 2 against Knebel in the 9th. The one Yelich got wrung up on was as far off/on the plate as Knebels and Haders was but it was also borderline low.

All of it made for an even more exciting win in hindsight I suppose

You don't even need to. His strike zone was bad, but acceptably bad for how crappy an ump he is early in the game. Then this happened.

Those bad calls stand on their own. Was awesome that we got the win.

So...we're 12 games over .500 (higher than we were at any point last season) and in first by 3.5 games.

I think the contribution breakdown is roughly 2% SP, 1% offense, and 97% bullpen.

Well, considering we are 31-11 in games we actually score, I'd say that's pretty much spot on.

So with Braun coming back, we need to start talking about how to change his role moving forward. He's been "unlucky" this year in terms of contact, but honestly over the last 12 months or so of his career, his bat is slower and he can't catch up. He needs to be in against lefties and low velocity guys, and that's pretty much it.

Feel like you're giving the offense way too much credit.
