Leader
Jon Heyman - Brewers are close to a deal with a Justin Smoak, solving their 1B issue.

ramssuperbowl99
Eh that's actually not bad. Slight discount on Thames for basically the same guy.

Offensively they've been about the same player the past 3 years, with Smoak having the higher average, obp, and hr. Last year he was incredibly unlucky at the plate and now gets half his games at MP. No reason not to think he won't be a moderate improvement on Thames at a cheaper cost. Defensively they're about a wash. I don't mind this signing
Packerraymond
I must only remember 2017 Smoak because I was excited to see this. Then I see his 2018 and 2019 numbers. Merp.

We are the Oakland A's of the Midwest. We operate the exact same way they do. I'm fine with that but it'd help to have a DH like they do lol. move Braun to 3b so Smoak can play 1b. Profit. just need to bring back Yuni B as a backup and we have the best Infield defense the worlds ever seen Edited December 20, 2019 by Herbie_Hancock

Seems to be some helium with Kyle Seager as he said he'd waive his option becoming a player option if he was traded to a contender. He's due $37 Million over the next two seasons so I'm not sure how we'd go about that. Maybe we'd have the Mariners eat some money or we flat out take it all on for a prospect? I think he'd do well in Milwaukee. Outside of a piss poor 2018, he's been rock solid in the 3-5 fWAR range. We could do a lot worse. packerbacker87
^^^^^^ that pitching staff will either turn your hair grey or make you pull hair out. Mike Fiers - 33 starts Brett Anderson - 31 starts Chris Bassitt - 25 starts Frankie Montas - 16 starts Homer Bailey - 13 starts Tanner Roark - 10 starts Daniel Mengden - 9 starts Aaron Brooks - 6 starts Marco Estrada - 5 starts Sean Manaea - 5 starts Tanner Anderson - 5 starts Woodruff, Houser, Anderson, Lauer, Lindblom isn't bad at all.
