the lone star
Does Erik Spoelstra Have A HOF Coaching Resume?
DirtyDez
He’ll be top-25 in wins all time within two years and has two titles. He’ll get in.
Tetsujin
He's 30th now, and has the 7th best regular season win% among those 30. He's also 15th in playoff games coached.
Pastor Dillon
Yes. Multiple rings probably always gets you in.
Pastor Dillon
It’s a little harder for a coach to get in but for players the HOF is a joke. Make 5 all star teams and you are basically a lock.

So you think if Ty Lue would have won in 2016 with Bron he would be in? I heavily disagree.

resilient part 2
Regardless of statistics, which some people hold more value in, Erik Spoelstra is at best somewhere between an okay Coach to very good as a ceiling. To me that is not Hall of Fame Worthy. But stats seem to be more prevalent so maybe he gets in. But if LeBron James makes his first big decision to go elsewhere are we even having this discussion Edited July 27, 2019 by resilient part

He has multiple championships and he'll continue to amass more accolades as he continues to coach. He's still in his 40's, which is really young. He gets in to the HoF easily. With that said, his entire acceptance speech better have at least a 10 minute block dedicated to LeBron James. The guy was handed the keys to a Ferrari - all he did was get in the seat.
