Hornets. MJ is going to kill them young heads in practice. He could suit up and bring more to the court than some of them.

How are they in cap hell? That GM/FO/ Capologist needs to be fired. You can't be over the cap with a trash roster.

They were prior to last season. Have Mitch Kucheck now.

Hornets will be garbage next year. Luckily they have the contracts of Marvin Williams, Biyimbo, and Kidd Gilcrest expiring after this season. Batum and Zeller the following season. Although no one will want to play there, so oh well.

I actually think it will come down to the Hornets and Wiz.

Hornets are bad, total lack of offense and talent.

Wiz I feel like are going to go nuclear and clean slate/firesale everyone. Even if they don't they still only have one guy worth anything. Poor Beal tbh.

Beal alone is worth more on the court than the entire Hornets roster combined.

Yep. But the losses will pile up and the Wiz will have to make that decision to cut bait and start over. Especially with the FO turnover. They brought in Sashi freaking Brown. This is getting blown up, lol.

Dallas Mavericks
PG: Delon Wright | Jalen Brunson | JJ Barea | Daryl Macon Jr
SG: Tim Hardaway Jr | Seth Curry | Courtney Lee
SF: Luka Doncic | Justin Jackson | Ryan Broekhoff
PF: Kristaps Porzingis | Dorian Finney-Smith | Maxi Kleber
C: Dwight Powell | Boban Marjanovic

Mavs prolly gonna roll with a lineup that looks like this

PG: Delon/Brunson/Barea
SG: Luka/Curry/Broekhoff
SF: Jackson/THJ/DFS/Lee
PF: KP/Kleber/Isaiah Roby
C: Powell/Boban

TWP: Reaves & Cleveland

DFS will play PF in small ball lineups, with Curry probably getting time at the 1 since Barea will be out for a bit. Luka, THJ, Lee, and Broekhoff can all swing from the 2 and 3, while Roby (who is currently unsigned) will play the 3 and 4. KP, Kleber, and Powell will all swing back and forth between the 4 and the 5. Boban will strictly play 5 though.

What I want the Mavs to do is give Roby a TWP contract (cut Cleveland) or stash him somehow (overseas or in the G League), acquire John Henson using their traded player exception, wait 2 months to combine him into a trade with Courtney Lee, and then send those two guys to Charlotte for Batum. That would open up a roster spot for the team, which the Mavs could then use on Roby or Reaves.

PG: Delon/Brunson/Barea
SG: Luka/Curry/Broekhoff
SF: Batum/THJ/DFS/Justin Jackson
PF: KP/Kleber/Isaiah Roby
C: Powell/Boban
