What Does Everyone Do For a Side Hustle?

How often do you play and what do you usually buy in with?

Love poker, i play every few months at casinos, closest one to me is about an hour away. I wanna be able to have a set stash to play with eventually.

A few times a week. Part time. No more than 20 hours per week, usually more around 12-15. Can be anywhere between 2-4 nights. Promotions also factor into it (hours for free rolls).  Also, just depends on how you run. Yesterday, I stepped into 2-5. Very first hand, look down at 6-6. Call a bet and three bet preflop, three way action, K66. Flop quads. One dude had aces, ended up doubling me up. So that was about $900 from the hand, $500 for flopping quads promotion. I stayed 20 more minutes, racked up, left up +1300 and some change.

But it largely depends on where I play. Red Rock is my "home" casino, and that's usually $800 for my buy in (1k Max). I'm super comfortable with the regs, whether they are pros or casual, so I don't need more than that.  The Wynn caps at $1500, so it plays deeper, so I usually max there and buy in at 1500.

When stepping into 5-10, my preference is $1500. I've made it work for as little as $900, but that's a grind. Red Rock caps at 3k, so even $1500 leaves you on the short side. Bellagio is best to get your feet wet, caps at $1500, so it plays like a deeper 2-5. Buy in for the max there. Wynn is uncapped at 5-10, so if I'm stepping into that game, I'm sitting down with at least $3000

I recently started the hustle of flipping stuff for profit from Craigslist/Facebook. It's amazing how lazy/effortless people are when it comes to selling things they don't end up needing, so I don't feel so bad about putting in the effort for them.

Also just registered to be a seller through Amazon FBA. Have my first product in the works at the moment and should go up in the near future.

Lmao walk in and follow quads. That’s awesome.

Yeah I’m in the process of planning a wedding, can’t buy in with that much, or have that much time to go play per week. I really wish i did though. When i go i usually just sit at the 1/2 tables.

The thing with poker is i can’t bring my girl to the casino with me when i go because she’s not going to sit and watch that for a few hours, same thing if i go with friends. I typically find myself playing blackjack lol

I have no idea what’s I just read, but it sounds like you understand it so that’s all that matters.

Next time I’m in Vegas we’ll meet up and we can play War.  I win about half the time.

I used to do Uber/Lyft - did it during the Super Bowl a few years back, drove a bit during the WS run for the Astros - made some nice fun money off of that.

You gonna brag about this in every new side hustle thread?

Not allowed to talk about my side hustle here. Just recently started but could be looking at at least $5000k a month off of it soon enough.

but now that Epstein is in jail, how will that affect your cash flow?
