It was an absolutely terrible pick. That will be revealed soon enough.
beardown3231
We may have to wait until 2020 to find out anything about Gary

soulman
Gary has a neck injury but so far it didn't sound too serious. Maybe just a stinger.

dll2000
Forum is going easy on Gary, but Packers Twitter is not happy. They are on the should have drafted Burns train. A lot of the forum wanted Burns pre-draft, but they defended the Gary pick with a lot of zeal.

They have gone from "he's going to be the best edge rusher in the league, so glad we didnt trade for mack" to "it's going to take a year or two"... Nads786
All Gary has is a bull rush. He reminds me of Floyd when he started off, all speed no moves. I can see him developing with his natural talent, but the GB fans are correct it will take time.

Except that Mack is a known quantity and plays like a runaway freight train. Gary has never been a top pass rusher so I'd say "best in the league" is being awfully optimistic for a boom or bust type pick. I'm quite content to have Mack putting the fear of God into Rodgers twice a year now while the Tundrans wait for their guy to develop as a an edge rusher. If you count the two FAs they signed and Gary they're paying three guys to do what Mack does himself.

How many guys from their secondary have been cut, traded, or not re-signed over the past decade?
