One of the reasons why Sashi Brown deserves no credit if the Browns becomes a contender in the next few years. Yes Sashi Brown gave a lot of draft pick for the Browns because of some trade, but he would not know how to use his draft pick ... He does not know how to judge the talent to save his life! Sashi made a bunch of amazing draft picks and helped us net several top tier picks turned Pro Bowlers, not to mention current starters like Pro Bowl MLB Schobert, Ogunjobi, Njoku, etc. His mid round picks and draft asset building and freeing up cap space was tremendous. 4 minutes ago, Steelersfan43 said: Yes Sashi Brown gave a lot of draft pick for the Browns because of some trade, but he would not know how to use his draft pick ... MacReady
Has there ever been who fell out of a 4th floor window who didn't bust after being a first round pick? I say it every year, and generally 4-5 years later I'm proven right. If you pick a stupid player, you will get a stupid player. Why teams continue taking these players thinking they will somehow change in the NFL is something I will never be able to understand.
PossibleCabbage
It's pretty much all been downhill for him since he looked like the best player in the universe against Bama in 2015. Not just in the NFL, he didn't do much the rest of that year either. But that one game was so good I can see why he got drafted as high as he did. Nabbs4u
Let's see. Former 1st / 2nd rd pick let go by the team that drafted him for vastly underachieving his draft value. Over - Under 48hrs before he's a Patriot and Bill Belicheck makes him a key contributor on his way to another SB appearance? Seen this movie before. I was going to say, "should we add the 'signs with patriots' now, or wait until it's official"

Before the draft he was talking about being a Raider fan. Might have been our 14th draft position but I think he actually grew up being a Raider fan. Just because of that, I'd offer vet min but doubt he makes the team. Jelly, Hankins, Hurst and Hall are DT's expected on the 53. Vanderdoes has potiential but gets injured. We've got a rookie fans seem to like they hope makes PS. So not much room and no need to to pay him much, so I expect he goes elsewhere. 1 year rental and he balls and signs big contract netting a 3rd comp pick. Don't want him anywhere near Vegas casino, hotels, strip clubs etc...Bath salt surprise.

AFlaccoSeagulls
I remember everyone being so high on this guy when he was drafted. Shame how far he's fallen. Maybe a change of scenery will help him be a rotational depth guy for some team.
MSURacerDT55
It may or may not apply here but you'd be surprised what getting cut will do to someone's ego. This sounds like Rod Marinelli special, maybe he can start from scratch and get his career back on track
