I'd rather have Jordan, who has the size and athleticism to potentially move to tackle and was probably a better prospect than anyone available at tackle when we got him. Now drafting a tackle last year, perhaps instead of Malik Jefferson, would be useful this year. Of course, we didn't have room for them, since CO and Fisher were here with Cordy and camp body Bobby Hart. So basically, we are here because we whiffed on two tackles and didn't cut bait with either of them early enough and then didn't bring in any NFL caliber free agents to make up for it. Still time to add another tackle, but it's slim pickings I think. John Jerry is probably our next man up. I'm not sure there's a better option out there. We'll see.
HangOnSloopy
I'm still pipe dreaming about Vets being cut and scooped.

Yeah, linebacker is a spot I like youth in general, but I would happily add a cut tackle another team didn't want to pay. It's my favorite kind of free agent. The only saving grace here is that the Bengals aren't the only team in this position.

Bad because they won't be able to find help on the wire most likely. Good in that they won't be the only team getting their QB flattened. My only hope is that this play action offense works to the line's benefit enough to avoid any sort of injury to Dalton.

Beck Bristow
I can't get too excited about this. I dominated my son and his friends in basketball over the weekend, but the Cavs haven't called yet, you know? I don't think it's just cause I'm 40.
TheVillain112
One person we haven't talked about thus far this preseason is Bobby Hart. Is the rest of the OL so bad that we don't even notice him or is he actually playing OK?
Johnny Nix
Play calling is definitely helping mask the struggles by getting the ball out quickly
Beck Bristow
Hart is who we know, low end starter on his best day, 4th tackle on his worst. Lg/C are just more interesting. I'm a little surprised that we haven't heard from Miller much. I hope that bodes well.

He looked an awful like the former #70 last night. Just whiffed twice on two quick sacks. Finley had no prayer on either play.
