Prediction Game: What team will OT Trent Williams be traded to?

Redskins Pro Bowl LT is on the trade block as reported.

He's 31 years of age, but holding out with 2 years left on his contract.

Redskins signed OT Donald Penn for a 1-yr deal. Both are good friends & Penn wanted to go where he "would" start.

This was before it was reported that the Patriots & several other teams were interested. (With the exception to the Denver Broncos, who were not)

So, have at it!

Who do you think trades for Trent Williams?

I'm predicting the Bengals

They lost 1st Round pick Jonah Williams for the season & we'll have an opportunity to plug that in with not only a pro bowler. But someone who can teach Jonah the ropes at tackle in the NFL & be a mentor.

Only GM more Stubborn and likely to dig his heels in then Daniel Snyder, is Jerry Jones.

He won't be traded out of sheer Spite!! Wouldn't be a Redskins season without some sort of Soap Opera. Theres a theme and similarities to the following.....

Days of our Lives

General Hospital

Washington Redskins

Young and the Restless

One life to Live

It'd be foolish for you guys not to. He's clearly done with you, holding onto him just hoping that he'll blink first isn't a good long term move for your football team. Trade him while he still has value.

I could see the clown show in Houston being the only team to overpay the Redskins when they have zero leverage.

Williams will never play for them again. Hes already earned 95 million plus before endorsements, NFLPA merchandise money, etc.

He's probably got a nice 15-25 million saved (unlike losers like Peterson and Brunell)

If you think they can collect fines or get back  pro-rated bonus then you underestimate the power of medical incompetence endangering a players health.
