MikeT14
Big or small. I am genuinely curious to see what happens in the 3 horse race behind Flacco in Denver. Probably two spots for Lock, Hogan, and Rypien. I assume Lock is a ... "lock", but who knows?
Steelersfan43
Before the camp for the steelers it was at the number 2 WR position, but Donte Moncrief seems to be a lock to be our second WR, unless an injury ... James Washington and Dionte Johnson are also in competition for playing time Also for the kicker position ... If Boswell has not a good camp and preseason game, I think the steelers is going to have a new kicker and it could be a kicker who is in a another team right now... Boswell has a lot of pressure in this training camp to keep his job, to have a 2 million signing bonus and also maybe for his future in the NFL. The steelers must put Boswell as much pressure as possible to see how he will react under pressure, since missing crucial FGs in the regular season is a killer for a team. Dome
Who's gonna catch passes from Drew Brees after Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara. Jared Cook is there too but after that we've got a bunch of guys that all look like they could be in the mix for playing time.
DawgX
For the Browns the biggest battles will be at RG and kicker. It'll be disappointing if Corbett doesn't win the starting job since he was a second round pick last year. And no matter who wins the kicking job for the Browns, I'm not gonna feel confident in that position until proven otherwise. It'll also be interesting to see if Greedy Williams is able to earn a starting spot week one or if someone like Mitchell is the opening day #2 CB. Danger
Eagles. RB - Who will be the 4th (or even maybe 5th?) runningback on the Eagles. Sanders and Howard are locks. Clement and Sproles are probably likely, but both of their contracts expire after this year. Boston Scott may be able to beat one of them out. As it is right now, I don't see any way either of the Eagles leading rushers in 2018 (Adams and Smallwood) make the team. OL - With Dillard now the heir apparent to Jason Peters, some things are being shuffled around. Trying to determine who is the odd man out. Could be Mailata, but they're also reportedly looking to try him at Guard. Big V could be traded for a very late draft pick and is a very flexible O-Lineman. DE - Chris Long's retirement has opened up a spot in the 4 edge rusher rotation. The two main contenders are Joe Ostman and Josh Sweat. Both reportedly have looked very good, but Joe Ostman has more buzz recently. LB - From all reports in camp, Kamu Grugier-Hill is looking better than Zach Brown by a fair margin, I don't know whether that's praise on KGH, or an indictment on Brown, probably a bit of both. LJ Fort is another name to look at. He or either S Andrew Sendejo need to prove they're worth more than a 4th round pick. Cutting either one saves a comp pick. CB - Very jumbled situation. Avonte Maddox, Rasul Douglas, and Sidney Jones have all looked pretty good in camp in the absence of Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby. Here's hoping Jalen Mills isn't the starter when he's healthy.
