Didnt lower his helmet, didn’t lower his shoulder, just turned his body to get in front of the defender and knocked him on his butt. Ozzy Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 Been very impressed with Holmes development, is actually making some plays out there and impressed by his length at DT, long and lean inside. And Hercules looks great! Seems like he could be one heck of a interior pass rushing DT. Great to see we have some promising young DTs to bring the heat. Surprised by Mannion also, I would love to see Sloter in this offense with his athletic ability and bootleg potential, but hard to not like Mannion just long term I am not sure there is much their with him. Owners voted to expand protection of defenseless players by eliminating the blindside block. It is now prohibited for a blocker to initiate forcible contact with his head, shoulder or forearm when his path is toward or parallel to his own end line. I’m actually pretty pumped to see what Irv Smith and Conklin can do from the TE spot.
