Rockice_8
Interesting throw of the dart here. Seems like he was a promising OG and had a shoulder injury derail his season. We gave up a conditional 7th for him. Here's a link from 2017 about his rookie season. https://ebonybird.com/2017/07/12/ronnie-stanley-alex-lewis-young-core-ravens-o-line/
Rockice_8
At worst he is good depth in an area of need. Another slick move by Joey D. Love how he is addressing the OL already.
NYJets4716
SHows that Joe Douglas isn't gonna sit around, hes trying to make sure their is OL depth and not ignore one of the most important positions.
Rockice_8
Jets OL depth Edoga, Compton, Harrison, Lewis That's actually not bad really. We quietly have some decent backups on the OL assuming Edoga keeps playing well.
jetskid007
Savvy move. Lewis has NFL experience at both LG and LT, and was a LG/LT/blocking TE in college. He should serve as good depth from left to right if he can stay healthy. Despite many reports that the Jets OLine was exceeding expectations early in camp, I love how it hasn't stopped Douglas from adding reinforcements. I'd be ecstatic if we somehow swung a trade for Trent Williams, but I'm comfortable with the group we have right now. Next up: CB.
JetsandI
I was about to drop his name here early day but decided to against it. Jets need some extra help at T not IOL at the moment. Still is cool with him aboard as he is natural LG who may step in for Osemele some point.
Bobby816
Swing T I imagine in running sets. And someone who can push Winters. If nothing else it’s good depth behind our OHs and he’s younger
ekill08x
This is a great move. It doesnt cost us a lot, we have had a ton of 6s and 7th round picks with Mac so who cares AND the best part is we keep the 3rd waiver claim position. Very smart move by Douglas. Take a draft pick, let us secure our guy, and still use our waiver spot as an advantage. Also love him prioritizing the line.

So we can keep using the waiver wire without issue. Still a good move though.

famousj
Mr. Douglas understands what the Jets needs are and is focused on addressing those needs. What a novel idea.

However, Jets made the trade for Alex Lewis before Ravens actually put him on the waiver, thanking to his big mouth. lol.

We don’t have to worry about OL bring neglected while Joe D is in charge.
KingOfNewYork
How many OL do we need? The answer is more. Great job by Douglas to try and build a foundation up front. Pollack has been doing a good job so far with guys helping keep Sam clean.
