AZBearsFan
We reached the part of the telecast where Miller is saying Mizzell did some good things last year. 🤦♂️

Deal with it. lol Happy with the game. Saw some good, some bad, but got out of it healthy. Edited August 9, 2019 by Sugashane
AZBearsFan
No injuries. Montgomery looks legit. Mission accomplished. Kickers though... kid from Carolina looked GOOD. Big leg and every kick, including a 55-yarder, was dead center.

Montgomery is going to be a stud, he changes our offense more then most people realize. Edited August 9, 2019 by dafreak

Completely agree, and really so does Davis. Not having any one-dimensionality to our offensive personnel groupings is so important.

For what it’s worth if they traded for Vedvik they’d release Pineiro and not owe OAK the conditional pick they’d probably trade to BAL for Vedvik. Overreaction? Maybe. But that’s the level of pressure right now on these guys. With that, if we get into FG range here I wanna see Pineiro get the shot to see how he responds to the miss. Not sure you'd get Vedvik for only a 7th rounder.

One positive I'll take from it is that Deon Bush is finally maturing into a potential starter.

Was saying they’d have to trade one away but would get that one back. Ravens can’t be too pushy since everyone knows they aren’t keeping him on their 53. If they overplay their hand they’ll end up getting nothing for him.

Love to have him and I'm sure Pace is keeping an eye on him.

dll2000
For second teamers and guys trying to make team Winners: Bush may win starting gig if Dix isn't careful. Montgomery confirmed that this dude is more gamer than practice player. Shelley Abdullah Anderson (this was surprise) Whyte looked good for having near zero practices. Looked fast. Losers: Kwaitkowski can't cover or play in space. Did have a nice inside run stuff, but a liability on field. Duck can't cover, too small and weak. Seems like they wanted to throw at him every play. Fitts (makes me sad, big hopes) he had a lot of snaps and should have made his presence known.
dll2000
Oh and Davis had a nice run that looked like a first down. Nagy didn't challenge spot and we punted. I think not challenging spots is a place in game management where a lot of coaches are weak. A turnover on downs on a 3 and out is a big thing.
dll2000
Note also: Bears in practice have been playing a LT of same guys together in different units. In game it was a hodge podge and a lot of guys got a lot of snaps in game that had very few practice reps. Felt bad for QBs.
GOGRIESE
Just another note RRH is a good one.
