Maybe the Pats are fine because we've seen it before but all of those teams are screwed If you've built a team around an elite QB like that as the linchpin of your entire team, sure...you expect that player is going to be irreplaceable. But i think it's a different situation when your "star QB" is Nick Foles. The whole premise in bringing him in, is that our team is supposed to be better positioned than most to succeed with just "decent" QB play. I hope Foles is good, but he's not the same sort of guy who is going to carry your whole team like Brady, Wilson, Brees, Rodgers, etc. where you'd expect things to completely fall apart if they get injured. Our team model should be better postured to withstand an injury without completely falling into shambles.
