Tetsujin
Beal and the possible return of an effective John Wall makes Miami relevant. I think the worst thing in the NBA is being irrelevant. Wall, Beal, Butler and Bam running around out there would be fun to watch. I think Bam may have a breakout year, too.

beekay414
I propose John Wall trades his contract to me for having to read this thread.
the lone star
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yy9l9575 It's not my money, so it's easy for me to say that I'd take the risk, lol.
sdrawkcab321
Batum and scary terry for wall. Charlotte is that kind of desperate and stupid. But this gives them a higher upside.

Also, I can't recall John Wall trying to punch out his coach lol. I'll take John Wall and the possibility of him coming back somewhere close to the top 5 PG he previously was vs the consistent horribleness that is Chris Davis. With that said, Wall still has the worst contract in the NBA (for now).
seminoles1
Andre Iguodala + Solomon Hill + Dwight Howard for John Wall + 2020 1st Round Pick + 2021 1st Swap + 2022 1st Round Pick + 2023 1st Swap.

It really sucks to be a wizards fan right now that that’s a deal that doesn’t include Beal that is probably in line with what it would take. Thats why Wall won't get moved. Thats probably an accurate cost, and Washington would be crazy to pay it. Just sit on the horrible contract. Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr for John Wall and an unprotected 2021 first round pick

Yeah, Washington's best play (and only play really) is to hold onto him and hope he recovers and plays well in 2020-21.

It may be unlikely, but it's possible. They are stuck with Wall for 4 (?) years and Beal will not get an AD/PG package where you can truly feel great about a rebuild

They gotta make money and sell something to fans. It's one thing to kick start a rebuild like the Thunder or Pelicans and another to trade your only three players worth a damn for the past 10 years or so (Porter, Wall, Beal) for nothing and building around some mid lottery picks and tanking

What hope is there with Wall's contract on that roster the next 4 years? None. Apathy is way worse than anything else in sports.
