That is a long recovery time and he may not even be able to be a full participant in practices right now. Add in the fact he isn't the best locker room guy, and no team was interested until late last year when injuries hit, and you've got your answer. Dez is an awful option which is true but also signing a soon to be 32-year-old Crabtree - to be just a little better than Doctson - doesn't make much sense to me.
