I still watch most of the time if I can get the game (not a problem now that I'm in Texas), but I don't get nearly as upset as I used to when they lose. I'm at a stage in life where I'm becoming a casual fan of most sports. I don't think I've watched 5 innings of playoff baseball. I did watch more playoff hockey- for me there is nothing quite like the gauntlet a team has to run to get their hands on Lord Stanley's Cup. It remains my favourite. I have no expectations re the Cowboys anymore. If the game is on and I have time I'll watch and comment here. If not no big deal. A quarter century of futility has worn me out. I've come to realize it's the fan base that drives me nuts. God love you if you think the Cowboys are going to the Superbowl. More power to you. I however happen to live on a planet called earth. At soon to be 57 I have more important things going on. The mortgage is gone, there's cash in the bank and I'm semi retired. Getting ready to send my boys off to college once we get Covid under control. Finally getting a dog in December. It's been 17 years since my old boy passed. We decided on an English Lab.

DaBoys
This is an exciting time for the forum. Most of us understand Dak is a good QB, the problem is how much better is a good QB than a decent QB when it comes to the salary cap. Andy Dalton is 9-11 // 81% // 108 rating and 111 yards so far. 0 TDs 0 INTs. 1 sack, and 1 fumble. He did make the necessary throw for us to win the game. He’s 1-0 in my book. Unfortunately the team around him isn’t half the team of the past 2 years. We actually probably need an elite QB this year because we have no bus to drive. Hence us being 2-3 If Andy Dalton some how some way leads this circus to the playoffs and wins a playoff game or two. You have to think long and hard about the value of paying Dak so much money. If the team continues to collapse then at the very least Dak should come at a slight discount after missing the year. atran35
It's very RARE to win the SB without a descent QB. Either you have an incredible defense and/or descent QB. I predict Dak will get franchise next year and sign in 2022.
