Stewart was a starting safety for the Broncos the last four seasons, but struggled last season as he was plagued by injuries. He was a pro-bowler in 2016, so this should be a good depth signing if he's healthy.

Now, when and where is Eric Berry signing??

Very smart player. Was absolutely integral to one of the best Defenses of all time (2016 Broncos). However ...

It appeared as though he had broken down physically last year. Missing tackles and unable to even cover half the field in 2 man coverage lead to his release.

Great guy, hope he has success.

Achilles injuries are career enders

If he would've gotten his heal spur (Haglunds deformity) fixed he'd be on a roster right now. He'd rather go another year with the day-to-day pain management plan that worked out so well for him last year.

Solid low risk signing.  Until he physically broke down he gave top 5 S play in 2015-16 and was a huge reason why DEN won the SB.  Great nose for the football.

He looked a step slower even when healthy last year so I get why he had to wait.  But for a D that needs help everywhere likely a low cost move.  Wish him well in Tampa.
