Crosby started off the year with his hand in a cast but came on strong and improved his run defence noticeably. Ferrell was probably a little more stout but there was no comparison in pass rushing, Crosby is a guy you have to account for, is always running hot, has counters and can wreck plays whilst Ferrell gets clean up sacks and sets the edge reasonably well. Ferrell wasn't terrible but underwhelming. Crosby has the look of a future star IMO. Edited February 25, 2020 by Darbsk

Where did the NFL teams think he had a weakness?

Where did the NFL teams think he had a weakness? Mayock described him as a all the physical traits but has no clue on technique. Went on to say that, Maxx see and reacts its a fluid motion. This was in a conversation about Ferrell. "Polar opposites" Ferrell is a "perfectionist that over thinks at times" "Maxx is reactive with little to no technique". Rough quotes.. This is why Rod Marinelli was brought in. DL specialist to kind of hone both in to what the Raiders want them to be which, is somewhere in the middle of their respective opposites. Where did the NFL teams think he had a weakness? I remember reading pre draft that he needed to improve his strength, conditioning and put on body mass and maybe he still needs to do a little work but maybe the attitude, technique and aggression was underestimated. It happens every year, even though Jacobs was excellent in my humble opinion Crosby could be the biggest steal of the draft if he keeps up his current trajectory. Dome
Erik McCoy is awesome. Assuming year 1 wasn’t a fluke he should make some pro bowls in his career. Conservatively, he was easily a Top 10 center last year, not that the league is stacked with high end center talent right now. But I think one could argue (and I’m sure people on Twitter have) that he was actually Top 5 or better. It’s hard for me to say, I don’t watch a ton of football these days. He was definitely very good, and there was no drop off with the loss of 2018 form Max Unger. Chauncey Gardner-Johnson looks like a great grab as well. No idea how he was around in the 4th, he was free falling. He’s the only player in the NFL that forced more incomplete passes (9) than 1st downs or TDs (8) on 3rd down passes last year. He’s proving to be pretty clutch and a big time trash talker, defense needed a guy like him. CGJ held George Kittle in check to the tune of 5 catches for 28 yards until :39 to play in the 4th quarter when Kittle broke one for 39. A tough task for any player let alone a rookie, but he proved he can go toe to toe with some of the leagues best players and give em a fight.
