Andrew Luck Dealing With Ankle Injury; Status Not Clear For Week 1

Recommended Posts

More likely to happen:

Luck is on the field week 1 starting or he misses the whole season?

I hope its the 1st but we've seen this before and all this news about more injuries that aren't even the shoulder is a major concern

Is he though? What has he done, besides being overly hyped pre-draft, to be considered generational?

I won't argue that he isn't good. He is. But I wouldn't call him generational. Being a top 5 or 6 QB doesn't mean that, unless you're saying he's top 5 or 6 all time?

Generational talents to me are Marino, Montana, Young, Brady, P. Manning, Rodgers, and maybe Wilson.

No he's overrated because he might get injured.

The fact that he’s at least doing individual passing drills and he isn’t limping around and is still active means he’s not that far away. Still think he plays week 1.

Yeah, I would be surprised if he doesn't play week one.

I think Indy is just being overcautious given how they screwed up last time when he got hurt.

This is one of those scenarios where I hope he is fine and has a great season but also am completely fine with him missing week 1.

Seems like the media overreacted he's playing week 1.

Definitely good to see.

Suppose it's hard not to worry about any injury Andrew picks up after the shoulder stuff.

But yeah, let's hope Week 1 he does play.
